Princess Anne High School

A replacement Princess Anne High School, designed for 1,550 in-attendance-zone and IB Program students plus 100 to 150 division-wide special needs students, will be built on the existing 43-acre high school site along Virginia Beach Boulevard and Thalia Creek and adjacent to Virginia Beach’s Town Center.  The new school will continue to be the home to VBCPS’ High School International Baccalaureate Program as well as the Division-wide High School Special Education Center.  As currently planned, Princess Anne High School students and staff will temporarily relocate to a renovated Holland Road Annex (formerly old Kellam High School) during construction.  When construction is completed, students and staff would move back to the Princess Anne High School site into the new school.
